How to Manage Stress in Sales

A Private Podcast Series for Loan Officers Who Want to Perform Better Without Living in Pressure

This isn’t another loan officer training.

It’s a reset.

A shift from reacting…

to leading.

to understanding what your brain is doing under it.

From chasing another tactic…

to learning how to perform inside the real moments that shape your business.

"My stress is gone."

This private podcast is quick, practical, and intentional

Listen while you drive between appointments, walk, reset your day, or take a breath between files.

Each episode is designed to help you understand what happens beneath performance — the pressure, scarcity, urgency, burnout, and high-stakes conversations that most sales training never teaches you how to manage.

Because the goal is not just to work harder.

The goal is to lead yourself through pressure so you can make better decisions, communicate more clearly, and build a business that does not require you to operate from panic all day.

01 · For you

This Series is for

you if

  • You are a loan officer, mortgage broker, or high-level sales professional who knows what to do — but pressure still gets in the way.

  • You want to be consistent, but slow markets make you spiral.

  • You want freedom, but the business keeps demanding constant access.

  • You want to communicate clearly, but high-stakes conversations make you tense, avoidant, or overly apologetic.

  • You want to perform at a higher level without burning yourself out to get there.

If any of that landed — this is built for exactly that.

02 · Who's leading this

Hi, I'm Deb.

I've spent 32 years in the corporate mortgage industry. I've worked in almost every production role there is: operations, loan officer, producing manager, and region manager. I've been in those situations. I understand the specific kind of stress this industry creates, because I lived it.

I built and led a team of 90 loan officers producing over $1B in annual volume.

But earlier in my career, my brain never shut off. Thinking about work driving my kids to school. Arguing with people in my head in the shower. Sitting in meetings convinced I wasn't good enough. Waking up at 3 am panicked about something that hadn't even happened yet.

Then I had major surgery and was out for eight weeks. Company policy pulled me off email and every system. While I was recovering on my couch, everything at work just kept moving. Problems got handled. But my worried thoughts were still there. Still looping. Still running the same stories about things that weren't even real.

That's when I got it: the fears weren't facts. They were patterns my brain had been running on repeat.

From that realization, I started teaching my team to separate fact from story. Pipelines ran more smoothly. Escalations dropped. Performance stabilized even through volatile markets. What was working, I turned into a repeatable process.

"You gave me the breakthrough. My stress is gone."
